As a member of both the China Tourism Association and the Chongqing Culture and Tourism Association, Chongqing Zhenyu Sports Culture Development Co., Ltd. is dedicated to leveraging sports as a medium to foster the high-quality, integrated development of culture, tourism, and sports. The company has recently unveiled an enhanced, upgraded experience for its two flagship itineraries: the “Lanzhou-to-Dunhuang In-Depth Tour” and the “Secret Dunhuang In-Depth Tour.”
Moving beyond the superficial, “whirlwind” style of traditional sightseeing, these routes seamlessly blend light outdoor exploration with in-depth historical study. The journey begins in Lanzhou—taking in the city’s “Hundred-Li Yellow River Scenic Belt” and the Gansu Provincial Museum—before continuing through the geological wonders of the Zhangye Colorful Danxia, the rugged terrain of the Pingshanhu Grand Canyon, and the historic Jiayuguan Pass—long hailed as the “greatest pass under heaven.” The route concludes with a deep dive into the “Children of the Earth” sculpture gallery in Guazhou and the hidden, mystical landscapes of Dunhuang.
In the heart of the Dunhuang region, the itinerary features unique, immersive experiences, including ancient cave-music performances and hands-on workshops where participants can trace and recreate thousand-year-old murals. Under the guidance of professional instructors, participants use natural mineral pigments to restore the colors of these ancient artworks—all while surrounded by the breathtaking, iconic scenery where desert sands meet spring waters—allowing them to personally connect with the vibrant legacy of the ancient Silk Road.
